My name is Adam, I'm currently 24. Last year I lost my Granddad to lung cancer, it happened quickly being only diagnosed with a tumour in his left lung 4 weeks prior to him passing away. The reason I'm raising funds for Sue Ryder is because my Granddad spent his last week in their care at their Thorpe Hall hospice, the staff were very caring and thoughtful, not only to my granddad but also the rest of my family.

Because of this, I've decided to raise funds for them by riding my 1994 Suzuki DR650 from where I live in the UK to the very southern tip of Italy using the Trans-Euro-Trail. I'll be riding 3,500 miles through some of the most scenic and hard to get to areas of France and Italy and will share my journey with you all via a blog and videos. Hopefully the funds raised will help care for those who are on their final journey with Sue Ryder.
