Way back in 2017 I had a crazy idea to cycle from Cherbourg-en-Cotentin North France all the way down to the Pyrenees in about 2 weeks. It was always simply a plan, a day-dream with no hope of materialisation. I had no reason to take on such a mammoth task, not just the ride itself but the immense amount of training that would be required in the build up to the trip. I wanted to find people that might be crazy enough to take on the challenge with me but it appears that finding these people is not so simple. Then it occurred to me. Make it a charity ride! From here the planning took off in much more detail and I can finally say that the ride is planned for spring/summer 2023. I will be posting training and fundraising progress as I go as well as updates after the trip itself once it's completed.
