Hello family, friends, strangers and others…

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've signed up for a 10k run, my first EVER! And I'm doing it to raise money for Greenpeace UK and their efforts to save The Arctic.

Why the Arctic you ask?

The Arctic is in serious trouble as a result of climate change and companies like Shell and Gazprom wants to take advantage of the increasing ice melt to get in and drill for the last dregs of oil in some of the most hostile but also the most pristine ecosystems on Earth.

Think back to what happened when BP drilled in the Gulf of Mexico. If there’s an oil spill in The Arctic, it would be impossible to clean up.

That’s the home of the Polar Bears, Narwhals, Arctic Foxes, Snowy Owls, Walruses and many other species. Will somebody think of the polar bears?!?!

To this day, I have yet to run 10k, but… I will train hard for the cause and I do hope you will make a financial contribution to show your support as I push my running limit.
