1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

Hey all - Llanishen High school learning support staff will be to climbing Pen y Fan three times in one day! We are doing this to raise money for ‘Prostate Cancer.

Inspired by our running coach, David Bird, who has recently had a prostate cancer diagnosis, we wanted to challenge ourselves and at the same time raise money for this amazing charity. Through David’s cracking of the whip some of us in the running club are further on our fitness journey so will want to complete all three climbs but others will attempt one or two, to show their support and love for him.

Prostate Cancer UK is here to prevent prostate cancer being a killer. One man dies from prostate cancer everyday in the UK and deaths from prostate cancer are set to soar over the next decade.
By finding better tests, better treatments, better prevention and better support, they aim to dramatically reduce the number of men dying from prostate cancer.
Friends - join us in making a difference by supporting a good cause! Any donation will help make an impact.
