A group of us are walking between the three Bradfield village halls(*) in England.   The walk is real, but the route is of course virtual.   The distance is 467 miles, which we will walk (or run) locally during the month of June.   

Taking part are - Eva, Christine, Sarah, Sam, Tony and Julie.

We are raising funds for the new village hall and new facilities (playground, multi-use games area and car park).   We now have planning permission for this and have raised over £300,000 already.  It is still a long way to go to our goal of over £1 million.  Our aim is to raise awareness with this event along with a goal of £4,670, which is £10 per mile walked.    

The value of having a community building has really been highlighted in recent weeks as the shop has been able to use our premises to help with the orders for those in lock down.
