In May 2014 we will take on what we have called the ‘Three Peaks Sore Cheeks Challenge' in aid of 'Scoo-B-Doo'.  We are Ken Hanna, Pete Hatherall and Tom Faulkner from Gloucester and Scott Hurcombe from the Forest of Dean who became friends through work and our interest in fundraising.

We will climb the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell) and Wales (Snowdon) walking about 25 miles, climbing 10,000 feet and cycling the 460 miles between them. To add a little extra pressure we aim to complete the challenge in 72 hours.

This challenge is 'another level' in both terms of training and the actual event, with very little experience of climbing and two of them not owning a bike until recently, the next 6 months of training is going to be tough.

Scoo-B-Doo is a charity that supports the Neonatal Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in caring for sick and premature babies. From day one, the charity has been actively fundraising to provide equipment and essential items, the money Scoo-B-Doo raises helps to maintain the service that is critical to the survival of these vulnerable patients.
