*Event is now scheduled for 6th May!!!*

My good friend Seb and I will be scaling the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in 24hours (or as close as possible!). My wonderful Mother will be designated driver, whizzing us from peak to peak  - thanks Ma!
We wish to raise money for the Samaritans in order to support individuals struggling with their personal issues. COVID-19 has been hard on so many of us when it comes to maintaining mental health, so please help us prevent people from suffering around the UK by sponsoring us now :)

Story time:

As I'm sure many people are, I am quite private when it comes to certain personal issues and I don't tend to publicize how I feel. However I will be honest and say that I haven't been a huge fan of my own birthdays for a while now. This is partly down to events that happened around my birthday years ago. Sometimes I feel very anxious, my mind wanders in a negative way and this often worsens around my birthday. In 2019 my self-esteem was particularly low. I felt completely lost and lacked a lot of motivation to go to work or even get out of bed and be a "normal" functioning dude.
With my 30th coming up, I was even more apprehensive about the day than usual because this milestone is seen as such a big deal. I really had no idea what to do in order to "celebrate". Therefore, I thought I would turn the potentially-negative in to a positive and help others who are enduring mental hardship. With this event me and Seb can raise money for a worthy cause while physically challenging ourselves along the way. Hence this event, which we're calling Three Peaks 30th!
