Three Peaks Challenge · 29 July 2022

Linc is dedicated to supporting blood cancer patients and their families across Gloucestershire. We provide both emotional and financial support and issue grants to help people who are receiving cancer care across Gloucester and Cheltenham hospitals.

Story

We all feel honored to have this opportunity to show Brent and his family how they have very much been in our minds and hearts. We'd very much appreciate your support.

Our colleague and friend Brent Morgan was diagnosed with APL at the start of this year. After 3 long months of treatment, he has thankfully started on the path to recovery with his APL now in remission. It's been a very difficult time for Brent and his family with more challenges to come.

To show our support for Brent and his family, we've decided to undertake the Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy Fund which is supporting Brent through his treatment.

We are aiming to complete the challenge from 29 July to 31 July ascending one peak per day. This will involve a total ascent of over 3km and 40km total walking distance as we hike up and down Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales.
