Story

We are Carla, Marina, and Laura. We call ourselves the Three Sisters as we grew up together, and have known each other since birth (Our Dad's were school buddies back in the day!)

The year 2020 marked the 20th anniversary of our wonderful mother/ godmother's passing. Her cancer started out as ovarian, so this is a cause very close to our hearts. By taking part in this challenge, we feel we are doing our small part in making a difference, whilst pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones. We will be cycling 50km in an all-female night-time event, which will take us from Windsor racecourse into the centre of London.

Due to the pandemic, the event which was planned for 2020 has been postponed twice, and will finally take place on 30th April 2022!

Every pedal we push and every pound raised goes a long way to help people affected by cancer and will motivate us to help us to cross the finish line...

  • £100 funds Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust's Ask the Expert service for two days and provides expert information to those who need it most.
  • £200 pays for somebody with secondary breast cancer to attend a Living with Secondary Breast Cancer group. These sessions support people with incurable secondary breast cancer, giving them expert information and a space to meet others who are going through the same thing.
  • £300 buys a bottle of specialist dye to stain cancer cells, so that Ovarian Cancer Action’s researchers can study them with a microscope and allow the charity to educate 2,500 women about the disease and its symptoms.

We look forward to keeping you updated with our progress. Thanks for following and supporting our journey and cause.
