The Sues and I have been friends since high school and three years ago signed up for a walk for cancer - to support the work that Macmillan have provided to family and our friends …. but then covid dashed those plans. Since then my mum has bravely fought and lost her battle with cancer and Sue T’s mum and cousin have now also been diagnosed with cancer so we have been personally touched by this cause. We are pleased to now have another opportunity to raise funds to show our appreciation for the Macmillan nurses who show love and support at such a difficult time.

This walk, although in a beautiful part of the world, will test our legs with lots of sand and a particularly tough stretch of shingle about 7 miles in… so we're looking forward to pushing ourselves with this challenge!
