Story

Hi All!

On August 11 this year I will be doing a skydive  to raise money for Manitha Neyam Trust ( www.manithaneyam.org ), a charity which makes a difference to the lives of people in Sri Lanka.

In 2005 I went to Sri Lanka to work as a Tsunami Reconstruction Volunteer.  It was an unforgettable experience and I was humbled and inspired by things that I saw and the people I met.

In a country already ravaged by war, the Tsunami has made life unbearable for so many, especially children, the elderly and the disabled.  It is in such desperate circumstances that I witnessed the truly amazing work being done by the charity.  It has housed, fed, clothed, educated and provided love and care to people who were alone, destitute and resigned to the belief that nothing good could ever touch their lives.

With the love and support of the charity these people have overcome their tragic pasts and live much happier lives with hope for the future.

Please support the charity's commitment to making a real difference in the world and enable it to give more people a fighting chance at happiness.

Donating on this site is easy, fast, completely secure and if you're a U.K taxpayer, an extra 28% will be added to your donation at no cost to you.  All the money you donate will go direct to the charity.

THANK YOU!

Thush x

P.S  I will be chasing you all for money - you've been warned!
