Today I turn 7 years old. 

I like celebrating my birthday with my friends. It’s a happy day for me and I wanted to share this happiness with you. I hope you don’t mind me sharing this important message with you. 

My friend Tiago is nearly 4 years old and he fell ill when he was a baby. He cannot stand, walk or talk yet. If he can get a special treatment, he can possibly do all of these things and more. Please help me raise money for Tiago’s treatment! 

When I was at nursery, me and my friends walked along the river Thames. For Christmas, I baked ginger bread cookies for Tiago. Sometimes I help him make hand prints or we do Yoga together. 

This year, for my 7^th birthday, I would like to raise £70 for Tiago’s treatment. Can you donate £1 or do you know anyone who can?

Thank you for taking the time to visit Tiago's JustGiving page. 

We are raising money for our precious 4 years old boy, Tiago. 

At the age of eight weeks, Tiago suffered a traumatic hypoxia brain injury that changed his life forever. Tiago's prognosis was very pessimistic, doctors gave him only 1% chance to survive. As a consequence, our little warrior has spent a total of 10 months in hospital. 

Tiago has Cerebral Palsy. For Tiago, this means that he can't seat unsupported, he can't walk and he is fed by a PEG because he can't swallow. Tiago is visually impaired, he can see light but at this stage it's difficult to understand how much he can really see. 

The money raised for Tiago will be used for a Stem Cell treatment. This treatment has proven to deliver positive impact, especially at a young age like our Tiago. Some studies on Cerebral Palsy Patients at Beike Biotech showed encouraging improvement on spasticity, trunk and limb muscle strength, head control, range of movement and swallowing.

Tiago needs at least £36.000 for a twenty-three days treatment at Beike Biotech Better Being hospital which will include:

- Full physical examination and blood test

- MRI, ECG and EMG test

- 8 umbilical cord-delivered stem cell injections

- Six Nerve Growth Factor injections

- Physical rehabilitation

- Acupuncture

- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

- Accommodation, flight and travel expenses for Tiago and his mum and dad

- Further treatment

It would be a dream come true to give a chance to Tiago to complete this treatment. As his parents, we will never stop to hope that one day Tiago will be able to walk, talk, eat and enjoy a better life style.
