Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may know my dad has had pretty much every heart ailment possible. Cardiomegaly , heart attack number 1, quadruple bypass, heart attack number 2, tonnes of stents fitted. 2 years ago he had 1 pacemaker fitted. Then he had a cardiac arrest and 12 mins of cpr thanks to his heroes. They then fitted another pacemaker and the same happened again. They then did ablasion of the heart. Sadly his ticker still kept going into arrest so the wonderful NHS said the only thing for him is a heart transplant.  On the 17th October 2016 he successfully underwent a heart transplant at Wythenshawe Hospital. Everyone who was involved was amazing. Without the fab research the BHF do they wouldn't have had had the knowledge to carry out such a procedure.

And special thanks to the donor who sadly lost his life but passed us the gift of life. He gave us hope and faith and without that you are lost in such challenging circumstances.
