Join me as I support the Hydrocephalus Association! As some of you may know, hydrocephalus is a life altering, life threatening condition, caused by an abnormal accumulation of cerebral spinal fluid, resulting in pressure on the brain. The most common treatment for this condition is brain surgery to implant a medical device called a shunt, which has a 50% failure rate in children within the first two years. A shunt is not a cure as many patients endure multiple brain surgeries throughout their lifetime, some more than 100. For those who do not know me personally, i have had hydrocephalus since birth. I've had several brain surgeries and i have what is called a vp shunt. Its not easy with daily headaches, the dizziness and the nausea that comes along with this condition and some days are better than others but i am grateful to be alive and well. Please help me with my goal of donating to THE HYDROCEPHALUS ASSOCIATION for hydrocephalus awareness month, ANYTHING helps and is appreciated🙏💜 GOD BLESS YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!
