Tikondane is a grassroots community centre run for and by the people of Katete in Eastern Zambia.

​Its mission is to fight poverty in Katete through better education, health and entrepreneurship; helping local people to help themselves while maintaining their traditional values.

ZMCP provides a UK portal for people wishing to donate money to the Tiko project. We have worked with Elke for many years and her grass roots work is inspirational. The money we collect is used for specific projects identified by the Tikondane community.
