This year I have been lucky enough to secure a charity place for London Marathon 2024 with Leukaemia Care. To say this is a challenge for me is probably an understatement and the thought of what I am about to take on is getting ever more real and scary BUT, let's be fair, this is not a fraction of what people diagnosed with cancer have to face. A fear no one should ever have to endure.

The past year has made me realise how precious life is and it really can be turned upside down in a split second. I am pushing myself to do this not only for my close ones but for everyones loved ones,  mums, dads, brothers, sisters and friends. Running is a new found love of mine and it’s about time we all used our passions for a good cause. 

Leukaemia Care provides vital support, information and advice to anyone whose life has been affected by blood cancer. They support patients, carers and families whose lives are impacted when someone they know and loves receives a diagnosis.
