Terry and I are tackling this challenge to raise money and awareness for Parkinson's UK. As my late father suffered with Parkinson's I was aware of the condition and the difficulties that he faced in his daily life. Since he was diagnosed life became increasingly difficult for him, as he was more and more restricted on what he could do. In the future Parkinson's UK aim to drive better care, treatments and quality of life. By taking on this challenge we hope to raise as much as possible to help meet these aims, make improvements and give confidence to people for the future.
Leaving from Conwy in North Wales we will be taking the path less travelled, using the vast network of Welsh bridleways and linking up as many trail centres as possible, keeping tarmac to a bare minimum to arrive 2 days later in Port Talbot in the south. Distance will be in the region of 350km. It will be tough but your support will be greatly appreciated and keep us motivated. Please give as generously as you can!
