Story
I love the work of the St Ives Youth Theatre, the members enthusiasm is infectious, and over the years they have consistently produced loads of inspiring work.
Since 2003, I have been proud to be a trustee, being vice-chairman since 2006. It is a delight to help in the background and see the many members who have flourished as they have grown up through their formative years from 11 to 18. It is thrilling to imagine what an ongoing impact this can have on young people's lives as they gain self-confidence and the ability for creative self-expression.
At the moment we are focused on raising money towards our whole company going to the Edinburgh Fringe to put on a produciton of "What I wanted to say but never will", http://www.siyt.co.uk/wiwtsbnwe.html. A number of our members are unable to afford the costs of attendence, but we are a family and want to make sure that everyone can be there.
So please give what you can to help inspire this great bunch of younger people, they are part of the new generation that show what talents we have both now and to come.
