When my Mum was ill one of her favourite support lines was the Mamillan nurses. They are so committed and passionate about their work and the service they provide is priceless. They are well informed on various forms of cancer and not only care for the patient but provide support for their families. Mamillan nurses are warm and friendly and that is a ray of light for thousands of people in their darkest times. I will never fully repay them for all they have done for me, my family and thousands of others like us but after my brother raised well over £1000 last year if I could get anywhere near that it would show that their work is appreciated. This is hopefully the first if many fundraisers aimed to raise awareness and support for one of the best cancer charities in the country. Please give generously.
