Thanks for taking the time to visit our page
Our two beautiful baby boys Noah and Leo were born early at 32 weeks when mum became unwell, and were admitted to the Trevor Mann Baby Unit at Brighton Hospital on the 13th October 2017 and stayed just over a month.
The Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) was Founded by Dr Trevor Mann in the 1970’s, the TMBU has become one of the foremost centres for treating premature and sick new-born babies and has dramatically improved survival rates.
Over 600 babies are treated at the unit every year with many parents traveling for miles to receive their amazing care and meet the even more amazing staff.
We wanted to give something back to the unit as a small way of saying thank you, and given the arrival of our twins may mean we have a little less time to say run a marathon(!). We came up with an idea we hope will raise lots of money and also be fun for those involved.
Our stay at TMBU cost over £50,000 and so in order to help highlight the cost of Neonatal care we want YOUR help to send Trevor the bear on a journey around the world where we hope to cover 50,000 miles!
If you sponsor Trevor you are also welcome to take him on holiday, walks, marathons or whatever gets us the mileage we need (photographing him as you do). To take Trevor on an adventure whether in the UK or abroad just email us and we will post him to you or we can deliver in the Brighton area (postage counts towards his mileage goal!)
We hope to get some fun photos of him in unusual places. Don’t worry if you just want to sponsor the bear but leave the travels up to others, every penny will help. Just £1 will buy some nappies thats saves the Unit money to spend on lifesaving treatment.
If you do donate please send your email address to timothypeterhill@gmail.com or tell us your email address with your donation so we can keep you up to date with Trevor’s Travels
Thanks!
