Alzheimer's Society - Memory Walk London · 18 September 2011 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My dad Charlie

My dad's name is Yoke Chye but most of our friends in Australia know him as Charlie. Charlie has dementia. It's a devastating disease for those afflicted and in some ways even more so for their families.

I'll be walking for dad and mum and Kim

On 18 September I'll be walking for dad, mum and my sister Kim, to help raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Society who help the many thousands of families in the UK whose lives have been forever changed by dementia.

You can support me in three ways

1. Make a donation. I always thought you were a nice person. Generous too.

2.Suggest an idea in your message for an outfit which I will wear on the walk. The sillier the better. The winning suggestion will be announced on my Facebook page.

3. Like this on Facebook.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you.
