We always try to raise money for the Friends of Essex Churches Trust.  It is particularly important this year because all charities are really struggling for funds, but also FoECT have just supported us with fuinding for a roof alarm to protect the lead on the Wendens Ambo church roof.  We had to have this fitted in order to be able to continue to insure the church fully against lead theft. We will be cycling to Cambridgeshire churches as Essex churches will not be open this year due to the restrictions.
