On 31st August 2019 I was diagnosed with bowel cancer which spread to my liver. I was put on palliative care of chemotherapy and radiology treatments for 18 months.  Despite side effects  my body  reacted well enough for surgery.  Following two operations in 2021  I AM NOW CANCER FREE! due to the fantastic work of the NHS and cancer research.
