I am running the Brentwood Half Marathon for The Sick Children's Trust because of the help they gave us when Jack was born.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When Jack was born he was unwell and had to stay in the Royal London Hospital. During this time we had to be apart from him, until The Sick Children's Trust gave us a room in a house they run around the corner. This meant that we could be close to Jack 24/7 until he was released.

I'm sad to say I didn't know about The Sick Children's Trust before needing their help and this appeal is to raise some much needed funds to help keep their houses running and for supplies that they provide to those staying with them in times of need. It is also to help raise awareness of their work, should you or someone you know need their services.

For those who have been following my running progress I'm currently up to around 8 miles. So this is still going to be a challenge for me.

I "ran" the Brentwood Half Marathon around 7 years ago and didn't do too well. I think I ran about 3 miles and walked the rest. My time was about 3 1/2 hours. This time I aim to run the whole distance and would like to knock a significant amount of time off.

Please donate if you can, follow the instructions on this page. If you would rather donate the old fashioned way I also have sponsorship forms that you can complete.

Can also ask that you share this page to raise awareness.

Thank you all in advance.
