Our mission is improve the lives of all people affected by ME. Working towards a future where everyone with ME receives the understanding, equity and care they deserve. We provide practical support and healthcare services, as well as funding breakthrough research and campaigning for change.

Story

ME is a devastating illness that ruins a lot of people's lives! Not just the person who is suffering but their family and friends too.Not just physically but also mentally aswell. It destroyed my life at the age of 12  , it caused a lot of pain for my family and close friends to watch me suffer. from being able to do what I loved which was play sport and socialise with my mates. 6 months of constant viruses and being told I was just stressed to eventually being diagnosed with ME. I barely attended school 3 days a week which resulted in a lot of frustration as couldn't achieve what I knew I could in exams and spent a lot of time in bed alone  which led to some very dark and scary times. By doing this run I hope I can help raise awareness for the illness and  help allow more research and help support those having a horrific time of it ! If I can give one person the hope and belief  that they can recover and achieve there dreams like I have done which was to be able to live a relatively normal day to day life and show ME it is not in charge of me which until recently I genuinely  believed would never happen again  then I will be a happy man. It's something I am very passionate about and this charity means the world to me so any donation would mean so much to me and my family    ❤️
