Story
On the 3rd Sept 23 I will be undertaking The Big Half in aid of The RAF Association (RAFA) to help raise funds for the RAF community and help ensure individuals receive the support they need and deserve. As a Connections for Life volunteer for RAFA I take huge sense of pride knowing I can help someone from the RAF community. Loneliness affects tens of thousands of people across the RAF community. Whether it’s a veteran struggling to adapt to life after service, or a family member facing difficulties alone, loneliness can be devastating to people’s mental and physical wellbeing. Please support me in my fundraising efforts whilst I prepare to undertake The Big Half.
The RAF Association is the charity that supports the RAF community and for over 90 years, have championed a simple belief that no member of the RAF community should ever be left without the help that they need. We support serving and former RAF personnel and their families. Whether it's an injured airman fighting to get back onto his feet, a young daughter missing her parent away on overseas operations or a WWII veteran needing a shoulder to lean on, we are here to help.
