Bath Half Marathon 2013 · 3 March 2013 ·

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

One day after a very short run I made the mistake of asking Dad what time of year the Bath Half closes for entries, out of interest(!), thinking one day I really should get around to getting off the sofa and do some worthwhile. Next thing I know I received an email with confirmation of my entry for this years half marathon, thanks Dad!! And so the struggle began! I really wasn't made for running! No ones face should turn the shade of red that mine does. It clashes with my hair!

I have chosen to fundraise for Myton Hospice (especially the Warwick hospice) in memory of my Auntie Sue. She was the most amazing, kind and brave person I have had the pleasure of knowing.  Life's just not the same without her. Myton Hospice also looked after my Greatgrandpa shortly before he passed away. It is a wonderful, peaceful place and couldn't have supported our family any more. Please donate whatever you can to help Myton keep caring for families during their times of need.

And cheer for Tim and Tor if you see us!
