Event: Kilimanjaro Trek 2022
We provide specialist palliative care to comfort patients and their families

Story

My name is Tim Kingsnorth, I'm 26 and I've signed up to climb Kilimanjaro, the world's largest freestanding mountain standing at 5895m in September 2022.

I've chosen to take on this amazing challenge to raise money for a charity that is very close to my heart, Nightingale House Hospice. Both of my grandparents on my mother's side spent time in the hospice and benefitted from the amazing work they do. I can't wait to push myself for such a brilliant cause.

For over 20 years the staff at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together. Not having to worry about the care a loved one receives, knowing they are in safe hands means every second spent together is dignified and peaceful. Without support such as yours, the specialist palliative care units wouldn’t be able to deliver such high standards.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page and if you can you can spare a donation it would be hugely appreciated by both myself, Nightingale House Hospice and the countless people they support and help.
