The Fairbridge Programme, part of The Prince's Trust, is located in 15 of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK, working in partnership with local communities to provide cost-effective solutions to issues such as truancy, crime and unemployment.

Story

Having trained their toned and tanned bodies to the peak of physical perfection (again), Julie Perkins, Julie Cheal and Anne Du Fresne will be running the Great Manchester 10K on Sunday 15 May 2010. Harry Calder, Mike Gorman, Ed Sleath, Andy Whatson, Bob and Joe Pindar, Martin Stocker, John Lawton, Tim and Chris Cheal will be desperately trying to keep up with them. Take a deep breath, dig deep and please sponsor us now! Fairbridge in Greater Manchester works with young people aged 13-25 that other organisations find difficult to engage - giving them the self-confidence and skills they need to change their lives. Find out more at www.fairbridge.org.uk. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Fairbridge gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor us now!
