Story

Hello everyone

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having been in Glasgow for a few years now, I’ve seen the Great Scottish Run take place a few times, and always wondered about entering but could never muster the energy or enthusiasm to sign my name on the dotted line so to speak. Until now…

A lot of you will have known our friend and fellow piper in Lomond & Clyde Pipe Band, Lochlann McKay. Lochlann very sadly passed away earlie...r this year and left a massive void in all our hearts within the band, wider piping community, and especially those of his family who cherished him the most.

In honour of Lochlann and the fun loving gentleman he truly was, myself and few others in the band have entered the half marathon, with all money raised going to Papyrus UK.

Feel free to check out their website and see the fantastic work they do at http://www.papyrus-uk.org/about

If anyone would like to donate some money, no matter what the amount, we all would be extremely grateful. It is for an exceptionally good cause, and one that is close to us all.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

You can also donate by texting “TIMY77” followed by a space and then the amount to 70070, so “TIMY77 £5” for example.

Again, every penny goes straight to Papyrus who have been in touch to express their thanks for the support in ensuring that the work they do can continue to grow and develop all over the UK

£1, £2, £3, £4, £5.... it all counts and contributions are equally gratefully received.

Cheers guys :)
