I met some of the EmbraceME team at a festival one summer and was very impressed with what they are doing to help children in particular in areas of conflict. Seeing children suffering get's to me more than anything. As we talked it came out that they had places on this bike ride. I was unable to do it last year but they have invited me again and so I jumped at the chance to make a difference to children suffering in the Middle East. It will also be my longest ever bike ride—100 miles. I have a lot of training ahead of me!
