This year I will be running the London Marathon and have chosen the charity TASC (The ambulance staff charity) to try and raise money for.
Ambulance staff are there for people in their time off need but can sometimes find themselves isolated and in need of help. They see things that other people hopefully never have to see, and sometimes they may need help themselves to get through things. PTSD, depression and even suicide can be the result of this if the right help is not given. We stick together and help each other out but sometime’s people need more. I know I have been to a few jobs where I have struggled for a while after. I was lucky enough that I could deal with it by myself and with the help of my colleagues, however others are not so lucky.
Ambulance staff have had even more to deal with over the last year and a half so I’m trying to raise money for TASC so if people need it the extra help is there. Thank you for reading, please share and if you can manage your donation will be greatly appreciated by someone in need of help.

We offer timely, tailored, often multi-stranded, support to individuals and families, helping them to improve their circumstances. Increasingly, people are turning to us for help with multiple and complex needs; in 2018 the average number of hours of support we gave to each beneficiary was 9.8 hours.
