Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park half marathon · 5 September 2021

We aim to motivate, educate and inspire children and young adults on mental health issues. We will provide regular support through workshops, interactive sessions and signposting them for further help and guidance. We will raise awareness of mental health issues though our fundraising and projects.

Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

On 5 September, I'm running a half marathon at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to raise money for Curve Foundation, a small charity for which I am a Trustee. You can read about Curve Foundation below; we are focused on helping children and young people facing mental wellness challenges and their families - a particularly important task given the ongoing pandemic.

Crucially, Curve Foundation is launching a programme on 6 September in partnership with an Essex secondary school to provide a counselling service to students struggling with mental wellness challenges. As part of that, Curve Foundation is paying for the in-school counsellor and we need to fund not only this but, hopefully, the expansion of the service so that counsellors can be provided on multiple days per week and, ultimately, in other schools within the same academy trust. As things stand, we are entirely reliant on public and corporate donations to achieve this, so every pound you sponsor me will help provide this vital service. Thank you.
