Cycle 274 Miles in August Challenge 2022
Campaign by Brain Tumour Research (RCN England and Wales 1153487, Scotland SC046840)
Cycle 274 Miles in August outdoors, on a static bike at home, or in the gym, it's up to you! Raise vital funds at the same time to help find a cure for brain tumours.

Story

Tim Shaw and Caroline Ward both work at Minster Law and are keen cyclists. Tim was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016 although he's since made a full recovery.

They have joined this campaign to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research and are each committing to ride 274 miles across August.

Caroline will be out on the roads while Tim will be using his turbo-trainer to rack up the mileage from the "comfort" of his garage.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
