Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

After a conversation with my mate Nick one night, it was decided; we were going to do a 10km charity run at some point. So I started attempting to train for it. I found that 10km was achieved rather quicker than I thought, so I rang Nick and said: 'I think we'd better make it a challenge. Fancy doing a half marathon with me?'

So here we are. I'm running for Parkinson's UK, a charity that does huge amounts for people that suffer with this disease. My grandma suffered with Parkinson's for many years, and, knowing how much they helped her, I'd like to give something back to them, to raise some money to help assist them with research into this horrible disease. If you can spare a few pounds or pence, whatever it is, I'd be so grateful. Thank you.
