Hi and thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. During June and July, I will be riding approximately 750 miles from Redhill, via Portsmouth down through Spain to Gibraltar to raise help money for Redhill YMCA and the Yippee Club.

Crash, Bang, Wallop!
I used to race bikes, but due an accident a couple of years ago I can no longer race competitively, so my aim is to use this challenge as a personal goal to help me get a little bit fitter again whilst at the same time helping the YMCA to raise funds. Now I don't mind sleeping in a tent and I understand that the terrain will be very hilly but as the mercury will be nudging towards the hottest Spain has to offer, it's the heat that concerns me most. I'm not good in the heat! So, the more sponsorship I have, the more determined I will be to get fit again to earn the sponsorship contribution.

Who and what are the Yippees?
The Yippees Club is for children and young people with or without special needs aged 5 to 15 years old. It can give parents and siblings of a child with challenging behaviour or physical disabilities valuable respite each week. It offers play provision for children with complex needs or disability, support network for siblings of a child with complex needs or disability, respite for parents/carers, a friendship group. All of this is offered free of charge, but in order to offer this valuable service they do need your donations – please help me, help the YMCA, help the Yippees by sponsoring me or by offering a donation.
