We provide emergency medical care worldwide to people affected by conflict & disasters.

Story

Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading emergency medical humanitarian aid organisation.

I have a huge amount of respect for the work of MSF. They are saving lives today in over 60 countries, many of which are places where others cannot or choose not to go by providing emergency assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics and natural or man-made disasters, without discrimination.

Throughout the month of October  2017 I'm swimming the width of the English Channel - just under 21 miles - to raise funds for MSF. (This had been scheduled for February but a shoulder injury meant we're now in October!)

I'll need to do about 66 lengths of a standard swimming pool every weekday throughout October to get to 21 miles.

Thank you for your support which is really appreciated.
