Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm very aware that this is the third of my challenges this year, so I'm grateful for anything you can give.  On Sunday September 15th I will be running a half marathon around the streets of Bristol.  I ran the 10k earlier in the year and enjoyed it so decided to sign up for this one too, hopefully I won't regret it with twice the distance to run.

FACE have recently started The Pod in the Park, a cafe running as a social enterprise in Filton, Bristol.  The cafe is giving much needed skills and work experience to people suffering with social, mental or physical disabilities.  The money raised will go towards funding the cafe, possibly towards a canopy/awning to protect the customers during the bad weather (the Pod is a very small building with no indoor seating), or maybe towards a fixed set of outdoor seating.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If I meet my £250 target, I will run the race in a multi-coloured tutu (in addition to my normal running gear!)
