ALS Steps for Hope - Remember Sue
Fundraising for Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) Foundation
September 29 will mark the 2 year anniversary of my mom's death. She was 64. She put on a brave front as her body betrayed her. She couldn't speak. Choked daily. Multiple procedures for G tubes. Falls resulting in broken ribs and fingers. She was able to shuffle to her hospice room under her own volition where she passed away 6 days later. I got the call just after midnight that "she had completed her journey." She suffered greatly as all those with ALS do. This always fatal disease must be stopped.
