I am running the Brighton Half Marathon on 10th October  2021 in memory of my wonderful dad who passed away on 31st October 2020 after suffering with dementia for many years.

The impact that dementia has on those who suffer with it and their families is immense. You lose the person you love twice and it is absolutely heartbreaking.  My dad was the kindest, gentlest soul and me and my family miss him terribly.

Frontotemporal dementia is a form of dementia that causes symptoms including problems with language or changes in behaviour and personality. Currently there are no available treatments for the condition.

Anything you can donate to help the research into finding a treatment for this cruel disease would be very much appreciated.
