We're a Christian aid and development agency, following Jesus to the places of greatest need to respond to disasters and help communities unlock their own potential to overcome poverty. We won't stop until poverty stops.

Story

"I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited this page (including my "Anonymous" friends & family) and for all the encouragement, support & generous donations. I wanted to share a snapshot of Tearfund's amazing life transforming work across the world, that your donations are helping support and so have uploaded some pictures for you in the Media Gallery. God bless you ".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The past few years have been so tough for families around the world. Covid-19, conflict and ongoing climate changes have seen people pushed to the edge. Growing enough crops, earning enough money, and buying essentials has become harder and harder. And facing a range of rising costs, with limited means, millions have found themselves plunged further into poverty. But there is a way to recover: together.
On the 24th June I'll be taking part in a 10 mile trek along the Thames, to raise money for Tearfund. It will be a day-long challenge, which will push my fellow trekkers & me way beyond our comfort zones. I will be walking all the way from Hampton Court Palace to Walton Bridge and back.There will be amazing river views too, but we hope for something even better that day. With your support we hope to raise money for Tearfund that helps to transform lives. Because poverty is not God's plan. We are.
What kind of things could your gift do?
£35 could provide a month's supply of food to a family who have been forced to flee their home.
£56 could provide seven families with psychological support to process trauma caused by conflict.
£78 could enable 15 self-help groups to learn how to plan for disasters like coronavirus, so they are less vulnerable when they occur.
Together we can make a difference. Thank you so much for your support.
