A year full of challenges.... · 18 September 2018

Improvements in the diagnosis and management of brain injuries, mean more people are surviving. We aim to establish a rehabilitation and recovery centre, to protect and promote good health among persons aged 17 years and over affected by an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), their families and carers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Tiplady -Team Tenacity JustGiving page.

I was 19, reading Law at Hull University and had my life already mapped out. Everything was great until I became unwell. I had brain cancer.

Nothing prepares you for that or the consequences.

Like many living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), I am now reliant on others to assist me with daily living. My life is very different to the one I had originally planned but I remain positive and in good humour. Undertaking challenges and raising awareness of ABI along with promoting and raising funds for Brainfartz has given me a new focus.
