Titus Three Peaks Challenge page

Titus Three Peaks Challenge · 17 September 2021
In September, Titus will be embarking on an adventure to raise much-needed funds to support the charity, climbing Yorkshire's three highest peaks in a single day. Starting at 5 am, the challenge will see us summiting Pen-y-ghent, 2,227ft, Ingleborough, 2,372ft, and finally Whernside 2414ft, all within 12 hours.
Every person at Titus will be actively involved, and our task between now and then is to raise much-needed funds for the charity. KD-UK is incredibly close to all of our hearts, and with your support, we can make a massive difference to the people who battle the disease every day
KD-UK is the only UK based charity for Kennedy's Disease (KD). It's a non-profit organisation run by volunteers and aims to support sufferers, carers, family and friends while also funding research into treatments and cures for the disease.
Kennedy's disease is a rare inherited neuromuscular disorder characterised by the degeneration of lower motor neurons within the spinal cord and brainstem, causing progressive weakening and wasting of the muscles. The many symptoms of Kennedy's Disease generally first appear when the person is aged between 30 and 50 years old.
The partnership between Titus and KD-UK began in November 2020 and will span a minimum of 2 years.
