We're raising money for Tiyeni, a small charity that helps alleviate starvation and poverty in Malawi through sustainable farming methods. Their revolutionary 'Tiyeni deep-bed method' creates a 200% increased yield, of larger and healthier crops.

The UK Government gave $22 million in late 2013 for emergency feeding. But food aid without sustainable farming is temporary and is not a real solution to the problem.

Tiyeni provides a long term sustainable alternative for far less money.

Tiyeni means “Let’s go!” and its ultimate aim is to replace the need for hand-outs of money, food and fertiliser in rural districts by training farming communities in smart and productive ways of farming, enabling them to support themselves now and in the future too.

But the folks at Tiyeni need funding for trainers, seeds and farming equipment to reposition farmers permanently. Raising even £200 can pay for a programme over many months for a rural community in Malawi, transforming its food production.
