We're braving the elements and a whole load of bounce to raise funds for the work of The Kite Trust - supporting LGBTQ+ youth across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to thrive! 

The Kite Trust's youth work programme provides groups, residentials and tailored support to LGBTQ+ youth up to the age of 30. It makes a huge difference to individual's confidence, self-esteem and social connections. One young person said they gained:

“A greater confidence in how I socialize and how people see me. And I feel less lonely as a trans person, seeing so many other trans people in one place.”

The Kite Trust worked with over 550 young people and their families last year and are seeing demand for activities increase all the time. Last month 40 participants from our community gathered for the latest 'Meet & Eat' in Cambridge sharing food, fun and lots of laughs. Around 30 young people attend a Kite Trust group each week for a much needed space to relax, build friendships and learn new skills.
