Story

I have published an ebook.  Its a fictional tale but based on my ten years in research labs prior to my joining the University of Edinburgh.

If you have ever worked in research science then something in this book will resonate with you.  If you have worked in research science in Edinburgh then it may jog a few memories.  If you have ever worked in research science with me then maybe a wry smile will cross your face as you turn the pages.

The book is available on amazon as a kindle version.  If you need the kindle version then please go there and purchase it knowing that £1.70 of your purchase will go to medical research.

If a PDF will suit your purposes then please donate at least £2.99 on this page, tick the box to allow the charity to have your details and I will send you the PDF with all of your donation going to medical research.  The PDF has a linked contents page and can be read as an i book.

If you want an actual book then send me a message - they are in production.

It is hoped that the profits from the sales will be enough to establish a fund which can support scientists working in medical research, maybe for conference travel or summer placements.

The University of Edinburgh is a registered charity whose impact and reach extends far beyond the education of the student body.  With expertise in medicine, the sciences and humanities, and centres investigating everything from major brain disorders to inclusion and diversity; the University can be an effective and powerful force for advancement and change with a truly global reach. Like all charities we rely on donations and are extremely grateful to our fundraisers who have baked, cycled, hiked, swam, climbed & more to help our vital work.
