Graham, or Hedgie as I knew him was my best friend. In 2006 he sadly died of an inoperable brain tumour less than a year after diagnosis. Like me he would have been 40 this year and I have no doubt whatsoever he would have joined me in my crazy challenge to complete Tough Mudder on the 24th of August, 2013. What's Tough Mudder? It's a 12 mile assault course of mud, freezing water, electric shocks, more mud, more electric shocks, crazy obstacles and a whole load of fun and comraderie along the way.
