Story

Hi! Thank you again to all those kind donors who supported me last year to complete the Melbourne Marathon. You inspired me to do another Marathon! But this time, due to COVID, I am planning to do a Kayak Marathon in Westernport, Victoria.

Kayaking 42 km will be a challenge not just physically but technically too because Westernport is notorious for its fast tides and sudden wind changes.

However, I am super passionate about the cause which is again to support LifeCare and COACH - Community Mentoring.

LifeCare and COACH support children, young people and families doing it tough through mentoring, counselling, emergency food assistance, a women's centre, and financial care. This year, LifeCare and COACH hope to support over 2200 families or individuals in 122 communities. Many live in economically and socially marginalised communities such as Mount Druitt in Sydney and Dandenong, Victoria

But when I Kayak I don't think of the stats, I think of the individual families and children who need our support. I see their faces and know many of their stories. Thinking of them keeps me going on long, cold and sometimes scary kayak training days!

Please click below and donate towards LifeCare and COACH. You can make a difference.

I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Toby
