Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022 · 9 October 2022 ·

The Ted Senior Foundation was set up after Ted Senior (aged 22) took his own life. He was a medical student following his dreams. The premise of the service will be to train individuals in universities and local schools sports teams in mental health first aid. We also work with The Support after Suicide Partnership.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This October, I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon alongside some of my former colleagues at Grunenthal for the Ted Senior Foundation.

The Ted Senior Foundation is charity that is close to my heart for several reasons. Most notably, Ted was a fantastic role model I knew around school and the rugby club I used to play for.

I would be walking around school and see his fantastic smile and know he was always around to help, the best qualities you could ask for in a head boy. He would also come down and coach and referee our matches at Monmouth Rugby Club. His kind hearted nature, and approachability really resonated with me.

It goes to show that what someone shows on the outside doesn't always tell their full story.

The foundation, set up in Ted's name, has been a fantastic champion of mental health and worker to prevent suicide. With the times we've had, from COVID and more recently the cost of living crisis, mental health charities are in more need now more than ever.

Your donation would go a long way in helping people across the UK access the help they need. Thank you again for visiting my page and I hope to see you at the finish line!

Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.
