Yet again I am undertaking the Leicester Clock Tower to Skegness ride for LOROS. This is a brilliant charity that provides all sorts of care, for those terminally ill. Unfortunately, I know LOROS first hand, as both my parents and my father in law, received end of life care there.

I have left setting up the page as late as possible, as I am seriously undercooked this year, training-wise, have damaged my ribs (all self inflicted!) and didn’t want to ask for sponsorship, knowing that I might not even do it.

As Isabel, who I am riding and have been training with said, a few weeks ago: 

“ I know it’s going to be hard, I know it’s going to hurt, but not nearly as much as those in LOROS.”

That is what will carry me through. 

Please do not feel obliged -as the old saying goes, if you don’t ask….I am very grateful for any donations, as this is such a worthy cause.
